Academic Program

The total tuition fees for the DESC programme shall be GBP£57,200⁺ (inclusive of VAT) all local, foreign and permanent residents and GBP(£)71,500 for China, Korea and Japan citizens, which shall be paid by a participant in the following manner:

A non-refundable deposit of GBP(£)7,500 (the “Deposit”), which shall be paid upon acceptance of an offer made by Simon-Erdős School of Design Sciences. Please refer to the payment schedule below for more details.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Deposit shall form part of the total tuition fees for the DESC programme, however, DESC will not refund the Deposit should a participant withdraw from the DESC programme at any time after accepting the offer.

The Deposit collected will be used to offset the 1^st billing shown in the table below.

Note: Value Added Tax (VAT) is a tax collected on behalf of the local Government and will be charged at the prevailing rate. Tuition fees (before VAT or GST) are locked in once the participant enters the program. The Simon-Erdős School of Design Sciences reserves the right to alter tuition fees for new incoming cohorts when required.

Sponsorship Document (Reminder)

Arrange for official documentation from your sponsor to be sent to Fellowship and Postdoctoral Affairs. Official electronic documents from the sponsoring agency can be sent to or_relations@dorfli.com.
The sponsorship documentation must detail the financial support amount and the number of years the funding has been granted (two years for a Fellow program and a minimum of four years for a Senior Fellow and PhD programs).
Your sponsorship document must include a registered Bank guarantee.
If there is any change in your funding situation, the DESC may re-evaluate your offer of admission and reserves the right to withdraw your offer of admission or withdraw you from your fellowship program.

⁺The amount illustrated is based on current prevailing VAT at 5%. Note that GST will be changed from 5% to 15% on 1^st January 2023. The applicable total amount payable will be charged accordingly.
