Finance and aid
Simon-Erdős School of Design Sciences (“DESC”) participants are fully funded including tuition, medical insurance, and a stipend. For more detailed information regarding the cost of attendance, including specific costs for tuition and fees, books and supplies, housing and food as well as transportation that are available at location.
|Application||US$150 (inclusive of VAT)||Non-refundable.|
Note: Participants who drop-out or leave the program before the defined period pay Tuition Fees and Value Added Tax (VAT) as calculated at the time. VAT is tax collected on behalf of the local Government and will be charged at the prevailing rate. Tuition fees (before GST) are locked in once the participant enters the programme. The School of Design Sciences reserves the right to alter tuition fees for new incoming cohorts when required.
Fees are for five terms/sixteen-twenty months of school, based on September and a full course load (5 courses per term). Fees for September will be available in April and will likely be higher. You pay fees one school term at a time (not the entire year at once). All figures are either in United States Dollars or the Great Britain Pound.
Senior Fellow Research participants pay a fee of £1750 per term to cover some costs of the Research program. If you’re in a Senior Fellow Research program, you don’t pay tuition during your Research work terms.
Senior Fellow Research and Simon Post-Doc Research Fellow participants are eligible for student accommodation on a double-sharing basis.
*For special programs tuition is significantly higher in your upper years.
For the design sciences programs, professional fellow training is estimated to be an additional $54,000 over 2 calendar years.
Your exact fees will be posted to your Stage participant account approximately a month before the start of each term.
